Happy Tuesday

Hi y’all, it’s Lorenza.

So, yesterday was quite eventful. Film crews took over North Davidson Street in the heart of NoDa to film a movie. What makes it more interesting is that all the way from New York City, the boys you know from SNL’s Please Don’t Destroy — Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy — were there in the flesh.

Well, 2/3 of them, anyway. Herlihy was replaced with a stunt double for the shoot. They were filming the actors roller skating down the street to “Boys” by Lizzo. They are filming a comedy movie for Universal Studios.

While I didn’t get to talk to the boys, I did get our friendly neighborhood photographer Alex Cason to take some shots in which I got to see them “up close.”

Now that I’m done with my celebrity encounter rant, here are some more stories to enjoy today on your lunch break. Hope you’re hungry — we have a food scoop!
